M.K. is a scenic designer, props artisan, scenic artist, and educator in technical theater craft. She has worked as theater faculty at Point Park University, The University of Pittsburgh, Marywood University, and is currently an Assistant Professor of Practice in Scenic Design at Southern Illinois University.

In addition to theatrical art, M.K. is also a studio artist. She specializes in acrylic canvas painting, ceramics, sculpture, digital art, and 3D modeling/printing.
